Mirror-image Panel, Mongolian Embroidery made with Silk and Gold
Gorgeous work depicting auspicious symbols and figures including cranes, spotted deer and camellia blossoms. Crafted all in infinitesimal forbidden, or blind-stitching, with 24K gold couching on a cream-colored, finely brocaded silken base. Wonderful natural, muted, unfaded colors. Excellent condition with no compromises whatsoever, however, there are a few unfinished details where the lay-out in graphite is still apparent. Framed and matted.
